Hi, I’m Liz Moore—a marketing professional turned web developer who believes in the power of continuous learning.
I graduated from the University of Washington in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, concentrating in both Marketing and Finance. Since then, I’ve spent nearly a decade building my career in marketing, with experience spanning strategy, digital marketing, social media, field marketing, and events. I love the creative and analytical sides of marketing, but I wanted to dive deeper into the technical skills that power the digital experiences we create.
That’s what brought me to Highline College, where I’m currently in my second quarter of the Web Development Certificate program. Learning to code and build websites has been challenging and incredibly rewarding; it’s given me a whole new perspective on how marketing and technology work together.
Outside of work and school, I’m passionate about travel and outdoor adventures. I’ve been fortunate to explore places like Cambodia, Thailand, Hawaii, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic. I also love hiking, paddleboarding, and reading; though I’ll admit those hobbies have been on pause lately. I have a three-year-old son who keeps me very busy and has completely transformed how I spend my time. He’s finally getting to an age where I’m excited to start taking him on little adventures and sharing those experiences together.
Whether it’s exploring a new country, learning a new skill, or watching my son discover the world, I’m always up for the next challenge.
